Space Squad finally go to sleep

It’s been such a long day, the Space Squad are tired. They are looking forward to a good night’s sleep. Benny tries out cousin Randy’s bed. But it’s so big, he nearly drowns under the blankets.

That’s going to be very hot, so the Family need to come up with some other sleeping arrangements. Mama Mandy remembers they have some old baby cots, from the time when the maxifig children were still minifigs. The Family get the beds out.

What a coincidence, they are in the Space Squad’s favourite colours! These baby cots fit the small Space Squad perfectly.

Mama Mandy, cousin Randy and Granny turn the light of and Space Squad immediately fall asleep.

About the setting

For this adventure cousin Randy borrowed Set 266-1 Children’s Bedroom from another maxifig boy.

The Space Squad beds were inspired on Set 271-1 Baby’s Cot and Cabinet. A set I have restored, but also misplaced. I’ll share more about the set, once I have found it.

Since I needed more of them, I used vintage parts to create these four baby cots. Obviously, I added modern parts to build the colourful blankets.
