Micro Airport

This micro airport is a combination of two sets:

For the build, I took inspiration from Set 4000016 Billund Airport, released in 2014 and only available at the Danish Airport.

The colours are based on the aircrafts of 30549 Build Your Own Vehicles:

Also I added trans-clear parts for the doors and windows.

Special features

I built the traffic control tower with parts from Set 30549. Since we don’t actually own the Billund Airport I had to search online for the instructions. But all I could find were some pictures. However, the roof was easy to replicate and I added the cute, little syringe as an antenna.

That is one of the few parts we have in light aqua, so I had to be creative with the gates. Adding dark blue parts to the terminal got a bit too busy, so I used it for the luggage cart. Which is already loaded with some suitcases.

Extensions

This MOC can easily be extended with surroundings like a landing strip, heliport, drone port, garden and/or taxi stand:
